Zanzibar Doors are finely carved kind of doors that are found around the stone in Zanzibar island. They are over a century old and they can be seen all around stone town city and some areas in the Zanzibar islands.
The carved doors of Zanzibar are said to have a deeper meaning including the measure of the original occupant’s social status.
Some of the doors are polished while others stay naturally looking and decorated with brass studs, knockers and chains as well.
